Staff Spotlight: Brenden, Intern
“What was your path to KCG?”
Brenden Dial: My path to KCG started when I was in Kempsville High School’s Entrepreneurship & Business Academy at the Advanced Technology Center. I met KCG’s CEO, Mark Klett, as a freshman in high school during a cyber hygiene seminar he spoke at. At the time, I was looking for a way into the networking and cybersecurity field. I had the opportunity to job shadow at KCG my sophomore year and immediately knew that it was where I wanted to be. This summer I landed the opportunity of interning with KCG.
“What is your favorite part about your internship?”
Brenden Dial: “My favorite part about my internship is coming into KCG everyday knowing that the work I contribute is impactful to the company. I also enjoy working in the environment at KCG where I have individuals around me who are there to give me useful insights on how to be successful.”
Interviewer: “How would you describe the employment experience?”
Brenden Dial: KCG is an experience that you will not find anywhere else. Interning here introduces you to a wide variety of skills that improve your ability to comprehend and solve real issues. My team and peers are here to guide me on the best path and work with me to achieve a common goal. The experience I have gained at KCG makes it incomparable to other work environments.
