2014 FEAC/Zachman Enterprise Architecture Award for Leadership in EA Driven Results

The 2014 FEAC / Zachman Enterprise Architecture Award for Leadership in EA Driven Results – Defense was given to Joint Staff (JS) J6 En-Route Mission Command Capability (EMCC) effort.  The EA award is presented by the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EACOE) the recognized industry leader for the civilian enterprise architecture community.
The JS J6 EMCC effort provided architecturally based Tactics, Techniques and Procedures; Installations Guides and implementation assistance to enable the migration of Special Operations Forces enhanced airborne en-route communications capabilities to the U.S. Army XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Marine Corps 26 Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) as part of the Global Response Forces. Leadership in EA Driven Results – Defense Winner:  EnRoute Mission Command Capability (EMCC) Tactical Enterprise Architecture Operational sponsors included XVIII Airborne Corps, Joint Staff J6, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) J3 and J6, 75th Ranger Regiment, and Program Manager, Warfighter Integration Networks – Tactical (PM WIN-T).

KCG Re-Certified as a SDVOSB

KCG recertified with the VA as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business! This is a high achievement with an approval rating below 60%. KCG has consistently kept it’s certification for over 8 years since the program was instituted and has worked very hard for the integrity of the program though our participation on the leadership team in the development and expansion of the SDVOSB Council, a National Organization Headquarter in Virginia Beach.

Zachman Award

KCG a Registered Training Provider for the NICCS

KCG is now a registered training provider for the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Careers and Studies (NICCS) http://niccs.us-cert.gov/training/tc/search. NICCS is an online resource for government, industry, academia, and the general public to learn about cybersecurity awareness, education, careers and workforce development opportunities.
KCG’s Cybersecurity Training offers comprehensive education in the systems engineering approach to cybersecurity. Our training takes a holistic approach to securing information systems, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations while leveraging industry best practices to find the right solution for each program’s need.
KCG offers quarterly training in both the DC Metro Area and Virginia Beach/Norfolk open to the public. Additionally, KCG customizes course content to offer private offerings including training government and military commands as well as corporations and non-profit organizations.
